I’ve been wanting to buy some nail thinner for the longest time but other than I keep forgetting to buy it, the name brand ones are so expensive and the local and affordable thinners are usually out of stock. Then again, I didn’t want to throw my old nail polishes because a lot of them are not cheap and some are from old limited collections that are either difficult to come by or may no longer be offered. So instead of throwing them away, I tried the Orly Nail Lacquer Thinner to save my precious collection.

How does it work?
Depending on the needs of your family, you will break your expenses into different categories and have an envelope prepared for each so that when payday comes, you will place the money on envelopes as budgeted. The rule is: You can only spend the money in those envelopes and if it runs out, then you have to wait for your next paycheck allocation. You ate also not allowed to move the money from one envelope to the other or you will be defeating its ultimate purpose which is control over cash spending. Now, what are the pros of using the cash envelope system?
I've always liked to spend time walking around, visiting old and discovering new places. But since I started working, I haven't had much time. When I do, I mostly spend it with my family to make up for the times I missed because of work. This is probably my first time traveling alone in 14 years.
Although I like to spend time with my family during off days, going solo once in a while definitely has its benefits too. So, what did I get out of it?
After 2 years of restraining myself from online shopping, I'm at it again. So while I was trying Shopee, I decided to buy makeup brushes, a portable white box for photography and a huge bunch of lashes which I will be reviewing and making a post in the near future dates.

After so long of just looking at the Belle La Peau - SM Olongapo's list of services, I finally had the courage to ask and try the Full Brazilian Waxing and it cost P750 minimum. You may throw in additional P250 for the mask and trust me, you deserve it.
It's not that I decided to do it out of the blue. I've tried their underarm waxing sort of like an initiation before going for something bolder and it's just a lot different than how I could've imagined it will be. What to expect on your first waxing experience?
1. It's going to be a little embarrassing.
I was asked to do several positions exposing my thing but that's to get all the hair out. If I were on my early 20's I'd probably be too shy to spread my legs to a stranger but now that I'm older, the thought of it felt like having just another armpit waxing. I mean, the attendant have the same thing and she'd probably done that a lot of times because its part of her job so there really is no reason to be shy. How I reacted to the pain was more embarrassing than actually posing to get waxed.
As we age, our eyelids may get droopy and uneven but I'd never consider having a double eyelid surgery to have it fixed especially when there are non - evasive procedures available. I know I'm not the only person having this kind of a problem and I'm not judging those who went and got one. It's just a personal preference.
Why not get a double eyelid surgery?
First, it will be expensive and second, I'm scared I may not be able to close my eyes in full or worse if the surgery didn't turnout well. Finding an eyelid tape is also easy in Asia, unlike in other countries, Here's picture to give you an idea how my eyelids look like after years of using an eyelid tape:
So how does Shopee work? When you open the app, the first thing you would see are the Flash Deals, Shopee Live and Top Selling items. Upon check - out, you would need to pay shipping fees to each shop that you're ordering from then your package would arrive individually packed. Delivery period may be vary depending on which shop you're buying it from and the courier that would deliver it. The longest I've experienced is two weeks from a shop that ships from overseas.
Natural makeup with bold lips is the easiest go to look for any woman but it could get boring. Then again, if you have a little extra time and an event to go to, throwing in a little colorful metallic to the mix could transition your look to full glam,

It's been a long time since I purchased an eyeshadow palette, even single pans, because I don't really use it often for work and events so it kinda go to waste. I was happy with the "no makeup" makeup look because its simple, clean, formal and saves me time. Until most recently, I got bored with how I look.

It's been 5 years since I've been to Baguio for work and about 15 to 16 years since I visited some of the places on this list. I'm not the most spiritual person as my family and friends know but churches and temples are a must visit for people searching for peace of mind.
1. Baguio Cathedral
It's located at the top end of Session Road and I used to walk pass by it going to SM for grocery shopping but I don't come here often for a mass. The only thing I remember coming here was praying to pass the entrance exam for SLU, the CPA board exam and praying for happiness. I came here once 5 years ago with the students I'm accompanying for a tour, but I don't remember much about it other than the bad weather.
Using liquid foundation is not my thing but after doing 30 days of Makeup, that morning habit stayed. It's not that I can't leave the house without it but I prefer to have a little makeup on before heading to work.

Having wavy, unmanageable virgin hair for more than twenty years was never an issue for me. Well, that's until people started telling me my hair ruins my potentail of looking like a lady. Since then, I've had it rebonded every six months. I got tired of it though.
Early last year, I cut my hair into a bob but find it difficult to maintain. It was mid 2016 when I decided to have it curled for the first time.
It's end of September and my long overdue hair appointment has finally come. Aside from money matters, I was having difficulty deciding on what hairstyle I want this year. For three years, I had my hair rebonded. It was only last year when I decided to have it curled after cutting it short. This year, I'd like to keep my hair long but still undecided whether I want it straight or curled.
Having curly hair takes more time and products to manage and it costs four times more than having it rebonded and that's my main problem. Then again, if I have it rebonded, I would have to let my hair down all the time unless I want to deform it. It's quite hot in the Philippines and most times I want my hair up too. Besides, everyone in the office is having their hair rebonded since it's easier to maintain.
Finally, I decided to have my hair curled and found time to go to the salon too. It was because my mom wanted her hair dyed and trimmed and she wants to go with me. It's not like we talk a lot when we go there. Most times we just sleep since the process takes long.
If you think smooth, flawlessly, air - brushed looking skin just happen by applying foundation, you are sorely mistaken. One thing I learned from my 30 Days of Makeup is that it takes time to layer on.
1. Skin care routine.
No matter what your skin type is, make sure to adhere to your Daily Skin Care Routine the night before and morning after. That way, oiliness is controlled and skin is kept moisturized.
2. Prime your face
A face primer can make or break your overall look so find one that's suitable for your skin type and makeup needs. It helps minimize the visibility of pores and wrinkles once you apply your foundation. Primers also allow your skin to breathe without disturbing the layers of makeup you have on,
If you're new to applying makeup properly, the first thing us millennials will probably do is check what beauty gurus do online. Then gain, just because they have thousands to millions of views and followers doesn't mean they're doing it right.
During my 30 Days of Makeup challenge, I picked up a few techniques from gurus that didn't work out for me in the long run and even regret trying. 1. Blending foundation with fingers.
At the beginning, I liked applying foundation with my fingers for two reasons: 1. It gives heavier coverage 2. I have no tools that needs cleaning.
The downside is, it doesn't blend your makeup as well as tools does (especially when you're in a rush) making your face looking blotchy and uneven.
I'm not getting any younger so skipping skin care is no longer an option. I do go to clinics for treatments but I don't follow a good skin care routine religiously. Having combination skin and a very oily T - zone, I would simply wash my face with Cetaphil followed by Eskinol Cleanser in the morning and I'm good to go. At night, I only add moisturizer in my morning routine.
A month ago, I decided to change that after observing dry patches in my face. I searched online and found Soko glam's 10 - Step Korean Skin Care Routine Set being sold for $199. Instead of buying that, I searched for product alternatives that would suit my skin and budget the most while following their directions as to which to apply first and what to look for in other products.
Here's the product combination I came up with:
